Description
Many people are interested in helping students and other UMBC community members register to vote and engage with the election, whether that is through one of the Center for Democracy and Civic Life’s programs or through other initiatives. This Thursday, August 29, from 1 - 2 p.m. in Commons 2B24*, we will be hosting a training session for UMBC community members to learn what you need to know to help people register to vote, including what resources are available on UMBC’s campus and how to find answers to some of the tricky questions that may come up during registration. This session will be led by Dr. Jennifer Domagal-Goldman, Executive Director of the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, who has graciously agreed to come to campus to help us engage UMBC’s community.
