Date & Time
October 29, 2024, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Description
Early voting started in Maryland on October 24, and Election Day is on November 5. Many people will have questions about voting and engaging with the election over the next week, and there is a lot of information about elections that can be complicated to understand. You can help!
Join us online on Tuesday, October 29 from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. to learn answers to the most frequently asked questions about voting as well as how to support members of the UMBC community in understanding and engaging with the election. Those who attend this event will be able to receive a free “Ask me about voting!” shirt.
If you would like to support voter engagement but are unable to attend, email the Center for Democracy and Civic Life at civiclife@umbc.edu.
This event is open to undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty. RSVPs are encouraged, but are not required.
