Join us for a workshop on the fundamentals of conflict management.
Whether you are looking for ways to take care of the communities around
you or how to navigate interpersonal conflict yourself, this program
will provide you with useful tools and ways of thinking. We will cover:
- The most productive ways to think about conflict,
- The priorities and essential goals of conflict management,
- Tips for how to communicate when you are in conflict, and
- Strategies for facilitating conflict management processes.
This session will be
co-led by Davonya Hall (Student Conduct and Community Standards) and
Ricky Blissett (Center for Democracy and Civic Life), who are both
seasoned facilitators, dialogue trainers, and mediators. This workshop
is open to students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty, and
