Changing Maryland is a program series that prepares members of the UMBC community for active participation in the Maryland General Assembly’s annual legislative session. A portion of each program takes place in small groups in which participants interact with state leaders and each other. The Center for Democracy and Civic Life organizes the Changing Maryland series in collaboration with UMBC’s Graduate Student Association, Student Government Association, and other campus organizations.
