Description
At the November Tool Foundry, participants will provide feedback and contribute ideas to a General Body Meeting Design Tool that we have been developing in partnership with student leaders and Courtney Campbell, Coordinator for Student Organization Development. This tool can help UMBC student organizations design general body meetings that engage, inspire, and empower members in ways that align with the values of a thriving democracy.
By “tool,” we mean a guide or process that can be used to accomplish goals relating to democracy and civic life. At “ToolFoundries” hosted by the Center, we’re going to work with people to develop new civic tools that meet their needs and help solve everyday problems.
