UMBC students, faculty, staff, and alumni: Join a conversation with District 12 legislators representing UMBC and the surrounding communities in the Maryland General Assembly. Meet local leaders and learn about their work, aspirations, and challenges, and how you can get involved. This program provides an opportunity to talk in small groups about important issues, and learn about pathways for anyone, independent of their major or role on campus, to contribute to the civic health of our community.
The District 12 legislators who will join us are:
Senator Clarence Lam, M.D., Education, Health, & Environment
Delegate Eric Ebersole, Ways & Means
Delegate Jessica Feldmark, Ways & Means
Delegate Terri Hill, M.D., Health & Gov’t Ops
